Queens MuseumFree: All time

Well, Queens Museum is technically not “free.” But! The admission fee is indeed a “suggested” donation. Feel free to interpret it as you wish. If on a tight budget, know that you can pay $1 or nothing at all to visit the museum. One of the most popular permanent exhibitions in the museum is the massive miniature piece of the entire NYC. Free guided tours of the museum run on Sundays afternoons at 2pm, 3pm and 4:30pm. Located in Flushing Meadow – Corona Park in the borough of Queens, the museum is right at the site of 1964 New York World’s Fair. Right by the museum are the famous Unisphere and the Observatory Towers. Also, around the corner is the New York Hall of Science.
