Seattle Gum WallFree: All time

The Market Theater Gum Wall is a local landmark in downtown Seattle. The wall is a box office for Market Theater. Bored patrons waiting in long lines began sticking their chewing gum onto the wall and the tradition continues. Theater workers scraped the gum away twice but eventually gave up and decided to embrace it. Today, many create their own piece of artwork by stretching gum and sticking on other materials.
