Artists SpaceFree: All time

Tucked in a short stone building in Soho, the Artists Space is easily missed. The gallery space, basically housed in a single floor on the third floor of the loft, is divided up by interior walls on which the artwork are hung. Although it may feel rather sparse, the Artists Space makes up for it with enthusiastic staffs that provide good explanation of the exhibits. The Artists Space was founded in 1972 with the goal of assiting young, emerging artists. Today, it has become a leading organization in the downtown alternative art scene in New York.
