Aoyama Technical SchoolFree: All time

Walking down the nondescript resident street in Daikanyama, you’ll find yourself taken aback by the Aoyama Technical School’s building structure. It looks like Optimus Prime in the mid of transformation. The giant building seems to be caught in the motion of attacking the wooden house below. According to its creator, architect Makoto Sei Watanabe, the Aoyama Technical College building was so designed as to emphasize all essential architectural elements – posts, water tanks, lightning rod, joints of various kinds. And all the parts, even after fulfilling their required functions, maintain the momentum of their growth, rising up like young shoots flourishing upon sufficient supply of water and light. Whether you’re an architecture or comic buff, this otherworldly building is worth your visit (exterior only).
