DjurgårdenFree: All time

Once the royal game park, Djurgården is parkland and forest ground that serve as home to many of Stockholm’s famous museums and attractions. While the museums aren’t free, the green spaces and woodlands are. Locals picnic here during summer and walk along the shoreline during winter. Visitors can easily spend a few peaceful hours exploring the island.
