Free: All time Sé do Porto

The Sé do Porto (Porto’s Cathedral) was built by Bishop Hugh on the 12th century. However, it’s has suffered many changes along the years but its overall facade remained Romanesque, particularly its interior. It’s located in the oldest district in Porto, where the city was born. The large square in front of the Cathedral was the ground of all the major commerce and trades of the city in the Middle Ages. One of the highlights of the cathedral refer to the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament adorned with an altarpiece which fetches by an exquisitely elaborated scene made of silver, and to the Gothic rose window of the facade, which is one of the few still standing original elements of the cathedral.
