Navy PierFree: All time

Navy Pier is an entertainment hub along the Chicago shoreline of Lake Michigan. What was originally constructed as a cargo facility is today Chicago’s number one tourist attraction. The site offers many attractions from IMAX theater to Ferris Wheel to museums. The pier and its ground encompass myriads of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants and other shore entertainment. Pay a visit to Museum of Stained Glass Windows since entry is free. While most other indoor attractions aren’t free, one can always enjoy a stroll along the pier. If you happen to be around during the time between Memorial Day to Labor Day, head over to the pier on Wednesday or Saturday nights to watch free fireworks display.
