The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) has been important in developing and collecting modernist art, and is often identified as the most influential museum of modern art in the world. The museum’s holdings include more than 150,000 individual pieces in addition to approximately 22,000 films and 4 million film stills. Important works include “The Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh, “Campbell’s Soup Cans” by Andy Warhol, “The Dance” by Henri Matisse and many more.
