Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments or known locally as “MELMOKE” comprises a collection of about 1200 Greek popular musical instruments dating from the 18th century to the present day. The permanent exhibition is spread over three floors. The display is arranged according to instrumental types, accompanied with both Greek and English labels, as well as earphones to enable visitor to listen to samples of the sound.
