Benaki MuseumFree: Every Thursday and International Museum Day (May 18th)

The main Benaki Museum is housed in the Benakis family mansion and has a collection of Greek works of art from the prehistorical to the modern times as well as an extensive collection of Asian Art. Although the museum initially also housed a collection of Islamic art, Chinese porcelain and exhibits on toys, its 2000 re-opening let to the creation of satellite museum that focused on specific collections.
