Bellevue BeachFree: All time

Bellevue Beach is a beach at Klampenborg on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen. About 10km away from downtown Copenhagen, the beach is quite easily reachable via the train. Bellevue has a 700m-long sandy beach with adjoining lawns. It is one of the most famous beaches for locals, although it declines in its popularity ever since the inauguration of the Amager Beach Park and the Copenhagen Harbour Bath. One of the characteristic of Bellevue is its blue-striped lifeguard towers, designed by Danish architect and furniture designer Arne Jacobsen in 1932. The beach is also just off the picturesque fishing village, Tårbæk. While in Klampenborg, consider also visiting the Bakken Amusement Park nearby.
